Colour spectrum photos
I recently discovered pintrest, and I really enjoyed looking at the photos done similar to the colour swatches you’d find in the paint section of stores. Though a lot of them only have tiny sections of macro photos, so you don’t get the full effect of the photo. They do this because there’s simply too many colours to match when you have the full photo.
So I went through my photos and instead of just taking a clip from these flower photos, I kept the entire photo. I basically looked for photos that had limited amounts of prominent colours.

This photo I edited to be many blue and purple on purpose. It was from spring, and there were hundreds of these little flowers popping up everywhere. Unfortunately there was a lot of brown, (from dead leaves from the past fall,) and green of the new grass in the photos. This one though I took the time to change it because there was also a car in the background… bright red, which just completely distracted the eye. Usually when I am trying to capture the beauty of nature I avoid over using photoshop but this time in particular I made an exception.
